Type Ratings CE-500, 525, 560XL, G1159
CE-500 Type Rating; good for the Citation 500, 501, 550, 551 & 560. Cessna
uses the names: Citation, Citation SP, V, Ultra, Encore & Bravo. All require the
common CE-500 Type Rating and a Co-Pilot with at least a Private, Multi &
Instrument.
The 501 & 551 can be flown by one CE-500 Type Rated pilot with a fully
operational Auto Pilot/ Flight Director in the left seat with an operational
boom mike. The other models require a special Single Pilot School in order to
comply with the STC and or Exemption; and that school is $10,000 dollars US. The
Letter of Authorization is only good for that pilot in that N number Citation.
Hiring a co-pilot by the day is a better deal.

12,500 lbs must complete a TSA Back Ground Check which is applied for by the
Applicant via Web Site prior to starting training. I am a TSA Preferred Provider
